It's that time again: The Game Awards 2025 (TGA) explodes tonight from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, hosted by mister world premiere himself, Geoff Keighley. Every year The Game Awards celebrate the best games of the year while also unleashing so many world premieres that it is hard to keep track of it all. The main show kicks off Thursday, December 11 at:

  • 7:30 PM ET / 6:30 PM CST / 4:30 PM PT (US East/Central/West Coast)
  • 12:30 AM GMT (UK/Europe, Friday Dec 12)

  • 1:30 PM AEDT (Australia, Friday)

We are't quite sure on the length of the show this year but plan for 3 to 4 hours of snacks to get you through.

TGA Predictions: Who Will Win Game of the Year? What Reveals Could We See?

Everyone has their opinions, and has hopefully cast their votes, but who do we think will win the biggest awards this year? Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is the favorite for Game of The Year, and likely several other awards, but Donkey Kong Bananza and Silksong have a chance to steal the night's biggest prize. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is the likely pick for RPG of the Year, and I'm holding out hope that Ball X Pit can snag Indie Game of the Year.

Hottest Reveal Predictions

This has been a big year for possible reveals, but there is never really any way to know if the rumors are real until we see the trailers live. Here are a few of the rumors that are getting the most attention online.

  • Persona 6 Reveal: Atlus has been on a roll with the Persona series and fans are hoping for a tease of the next installment.
  • New God of War: God of War is expected to head to Egypt next, but maybe as a side-scrolling 2.5D spin-off. We'll have to wait and see what's next for Kratos.
  • Larian Studios' Post-BG3 Project: A Divinity sequel has emerged as the most likely explanation for that crazy statue people found out in the desert. Could the wizards behind Baldur's Gate 3 be about to announce their next original title?
  • Other Possibilities: Resident Evil Requiem Leon trailer; Tomb Raider updates/remake; Control 2 announcement; new Saros gameplay. Could we actually get a Half-Life 3 tease?
