Absolum’s New Gameplay Trailer Promises A Rogue ‘Em Up Packed with Action
A new gameplay trailer just dropped for Absolum, the upcoming roguelite beat ‘em up, and it is definitely worth a look. It showcases the game’s vibrant hand-drawn visuals, fast-paced combat, and takes us through the exciting features that make this more than just your standard brawler.
The trailer explains how Absolum blends classic arcade brawling with roguelite randomization. You’ll chain combos, cast spells, and dodge through waves of enemies as one of four unique rebels, Galandra, Karl, Cider, or Brome, each with distinct strengths like massive sword swings or magical barrages. The combat looks great and calls back to arcade classics like Golden Axe
We also get a look at some of the locations in the game, like the mines of Grandery or Jaroba’s lush forests, and they all burst with animated film-style art. The rogue-like elements expand the action with randomized levels, unlockable Rituals, and Inspirations that reset each run, ensuring every quest feels fresh. Throw in the live orchestral score, and Absolum promises a co-op epic the likes of which we haven't seen before.
You can check out the trailer above to learn all about the game and get ready for its release on October 9th. And make sure you stay tuned to GameMinr.com for all the latest on Absolum as we get closer to launch!
