Sony State of Play Highlights (September 24, 2025)
Sony’s State of Play showcase packed over a dozen announcements, blending first-party heavyweights with indie surprises. Here are some of the biggest reveals from their stream, starting with a couple PS5 exclusives coming next year.
Marvel’s Wolverine
Insomniac Games unveiled a bloody, action-packed gameplay reveal for Marvel’s Wolverine, with a look at some awesome combat snippets as well as the dynamic chase and movement sequences we are accustomed to from the Spiderman games. This looks like classic Wolverine, expect gore, (seriously they are pulling no punches with this one) as well as X-Men cameos like Mystique and Omega Red, and that glorious vintage yellow suit. Our next good look at this one will likely come at the showcase Sony has planned for Spring 2026. (Fall 2026, PS5)
Saros
Housemarque’s Returnal follow-up, Saros, dazzled with nearly five straight minutes of bullet-hell third-person shooter gameplay. Players will have access plenty of options for keeping a run going, from dashing through bullets, using a solar shield to absorb attacks, and a “Second Chance” revive mechanic on first death. This looks like another great action game to add to your list. (March 20, 2026, PS5)
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
While it feels strange to even say this, Microsoft Flight Simulator will be released soon on Playstation 5. No longer an Xbox exclusive, this flight sim lands on PS5 with this Holiday with PSVR 2 support coming soon. Now, Playstation players will be able to live out their flying dreams too. (December 8, 2025, PS5)
Battlefield 6 - Campaign Trailer
Dice gave us a first look at the single-player campaign where you'll step into the boots of Dagger 13, an elite squad of Marine Raiders. In celebration of this achievement a major update for Gran Turismo 7, titled SPEC III, is coming our way in December. The update includes new tracks, cars, events, and driving updates. I'm looking forward to this one. (December 2025)
