Double Drop Alert: Battlefield 6 and Little Nightmares III Unleash War and Bad Dreams Today!
As if the last couple months hadn't packed in enough releases for us, today we have EA's Battlefield 6 reviving the franchise's all-out war legacy and Supermassive Games' Little Nightmares III taking that series' puzzle solving horror game into the co-op realm. Are you looking for the drama of war, or the stuff nightmares are made of? Let's take a look at both games so you can pick your poison.
Battlefield 6: All-Out War: Escalated

DICE and EA pull no punches with Battlefield 6, the series' biggest entry yet, blending classic Conquest and Breakthrough modes with the brand-new Escalation for unprecedented scale on sprawling, destructible maps. Forget class-locked guns, equip your favorites across four specialized classes (Assault, Engineer, Support, Recon) for flexible loadouts, from sniper supremacy to vehicle-dominating artillery. The campaign teases elite Marines Dagger 13 globe-trotting against high-stakes threats, but it's the multiplayer that shines: jets screaming overhead, tanks rumbling through crumbling buildings, and the revamped Battlefield Portal letting you craft and share custom chaos.
Check out the multiplayer trailer below and get ready for the biggest, and most destructive, shooter action you've ever seen.
Little Nightmares III: Holding Hands At the End of the World

Shifting from destruction to dread, Little Nightmares III traps you in the Nowhere's ever-twisting Spiral, where pint-sized friends Low and Alone must co-op their way out; or perish trying. Supermassive Games (of Until Dawn fame) crafts this atmospheric platformer-puzzler with Bandai Namco, introducing online co-op for two players (or solo with AI buddy) to wield Low's bow for sniping distant perils and Alone's wrench for smashing barriers and foes.
Sneak, hoist, hide, and exploit environments in haunting locales: the bone-strewn Necropolis for hide-and-seek with Monster Baby, a swarming Candy Factory, or a rain-lashed funfair evading lumbering Residents. It's a perfect game for Halloween prep with its haunting atmosphere and co-op gameplay focus. Check out the trailer below to get a feel for the hauntings that await you.
From the thunder of tanks to the whisper of shadows, today's double drop caters to every gamer desire. Battlefield 6 brings you and your squad up against 64 players, while Little Nightmares III takes you and a friend on some terrifying travels. Which path will you choose? I'm sure which ever trick you goes, your weekend is going to be a treat.
