BALL x PIT Launches Today: Time to Dive in and Rebuild Ballbylon
That's right gameminrs, the pit is open! BALL x PIT is out today, plunging you into a whirlwind of balls, loot, and adventure. Developed by indie wizard Kenny Sun and published by Devolver Digital, this fast-paced title transforms the ruins of fallen Ballbylon into your personal playground, where you can arm yourself with magic-infused balls to delve deeper and deeper into the monster-infested pit.
BALL X PIT asks you to rebuild your home above ground, fuse over 60 randomized balls into hundreds of overpowered combinations, and recruit unique heroes with game-changing mechanics, it's a seamless mashup of brick-breaking, survival strategy, and base-building that keeps every run feeling explosive and fresh.
Smash Those Balls Together

At its core, BALL x PIT shines with its excellent Ball Fusion system, letting you experiment with ricocheting fireballs, gravity pulls, and chain-reaction blasts to smash through enemy foes. You'll blast your way through levels ranging from barren deserts, frozen caverns, and savage forests, that all culminating in screen-filling boss battles that demand quick reflexes and strategy changes. Want to shred a boss? Combine the Burn and Iron balls to create a Bomb ball that explodes on impact and deals massive damage. There are so many combinations to discover that you'll be tweaking your builds late into the night.
We'll Build a New World

Back at New Ballbylon, you can continually expand your settlement with over 70 buildings that enable new characters, or buffs for your next run. You also have to think ahead as you build your city because each time you 'farm' your resources you fire off your heroes to pinball around the city and collect whatever you run into. Setting up your buildings to reflect just right never gets old.
This loop of delving into the pit to challenge new levels, and then returning to base to upgrade your buildings and farm resources for the next run is perfect. On nearly every run you'll find a blueprint for a new building to build back on the surface, then that building will give you a much needed boost for the next level, and you'll find yourself bouncing balls at enemies again before you know it.
