House of the Lost: Revived Is Coming to Steam This October

The House is heading to PC. F5 Games announced today that House of the Lost: Revived, the 2012 mobile roguelike that vanished from storefronts and came back rebuilt this summer, will launch on Steam in October 2026, timed for Halloween. The store page is live now, and it looks like the Steam build adds two things the series has never had: two-player co-op, and full controller support.

If you already know the mobile game, the pitch is the same: a top-down action roguelike that mixes Binding of Isaac chaos with Zelda-style dungeon crawling. You take a slingshot into a haunted house after your missing sister, with floors, enemies, and challenges that reshuffle every run. If you're lucky, you craft scavenged junk into ridiculous weapons, and fight through four environments each hide their own secrets and bosses.

What changes on PC is who you bring with you.

Co-op, Controllers, and a PC Audience

The Steam version promises to bring Shared/Split Screen Co-op, Full Controller Support, and Steam Deck Support to the table. Currently, Steam Deck compatibility is still listed as Unknown on the store page, but the press release is explicit that Deck support is a priority for the team. System requirements are light (2 GB RAM, integrated graphics, 250 MB), which is the right kind of modest for a 2D action roguelike.

"The Binding of Isaac comparison has followed this game since 2012, and PC is where that audience actually lives. Bringing the House to Steam, with a second player along for the run, is the version of this game we've wanted to make for over a decade." - Brandon Pollet, F5 Games

That is the version of this game that never existed in 2012. Mobile was a one-player, thumb-stick-or-buttons run. PC is where the Isaac comparison actually lives, and co-op is the feature that makes a wishlist worth hitting before October.
